GLOUCESTER TWP. - Police are investigating a report of a motorist with a gun who approached a student on his way home from school.

The juvenile said he was walking home from his bus stop Friday afternoon in the area of Sophia Drive when a vehicle pulled up to the curb, according to police.

Through the open passenger window, the driver asked him to come over to the vehicle. The boy saw what he believed to be a handgun, ran home and contacted his mother, police said.

Officers were unable to locate the vehicle, described as a black, four-door, older model, possibly with a damaged passenger side rear window.
